For quite a lot of people starting counselling may seem a scary proportion and I can understand why, talking about challenges and issues that come up in your life can feel daunting. Especially when you feel like you can't see a way through what it is you are facing.  

Therapy can be a powerful process of discovery and change, it can offer a place of growth, a way to move forward and discover new possibilities for happiness.  This discovery is done through an active dialogues between you and I.

I am very much engaged in the conversation and relationship and work with you to help create insight into your life and the issues you are dealing with. Everything we discuss is confidential and without judgement. I try to make the process as comfortable as possible and the environment is an important part of this. My room is comfortable, private and quiet. 

On your first visit I will ask you a to tell me a bit more about your situation, what brings you to therapy and what you would like a achieve by coming. It’s totally up to you how much you share and how quickly you want to share it.  In the first session I will tell you about how I practice, that is the approach I take to counselling, you can read more about me and my approach here.

Then we will discuss how we both feel about continuing with the journey of therapy together and the time and day we will meet.

An important thing keep in mind is that I have met many different people with a huge range of challenges.  I will be here with you through the process, whatever it is you wish to bring to the sessions.

I am here to go on a journey with you, to help you find out more about where you are, how you got there and to discover possible choices you have moving forward. Over time I have seen this process of gaining awareness and understanding of your life and the choices we make, allowing clients to feel more secure and content with ones self, leading to a greater sense of comfort and control in life.

Most importantly I am not here to judge anyone or tell you what to do. This is a place for us to work together so we can look at what you can do, to find the path that is right for you. I am here to support you in your therapeutic process.

I work from my practices in Harley Street and Fitzrovia in central London and offer session from 7am to 10pm Tuesday – Friday. Our initial meeting is for 30 to 50 minutes, free of costs and with out any obligations.

After our initial meeting, sessions are for 50 minutes and usually on a weekly basis. I offer open ended or time limited therapy.
